FAQ – UK Mainland Delivery

Are products delivered frozen?

Yes, all of our BBQ meat products are delivered frozen and will usually be delivered with a minimum of 2 months shelf life.

Are meat products raw or cooked?
All of our BBQ meats are pre-cooked and packaged straight off of our oak burning smoke pits. This means every piece has been fully cooked using our signature low and slow method to ensure that authentic taste of Kansas City.

Can products be reheated from frozen?

We recommend fully defrosting all frozen products prior to reheating. All instructions refer to a thawed product so if reheating from frozen you will need to adjust the cooking time and temperature accordingly.

There seems to be air in the packaging. Is it safe to consume?

All of our products are delivered frozen in a sealed bag. A small amount of air is left inside the bag when packaging as fully vacuuming the bags can cause punctures. Please do not expect packs to be fully airtight. Having a little air inside the pack is no cause for concern and will not affect the shelf life of the product – the shelf life of the product is dependant on the correct frozen storage conditions.

Do you offer next day delivery?

We do. Place your order before 1 PM for next working day delivery. Orders placed between Friday – Sunday, will be delivered on Tuesday.

Do you deliver anywhere in the UK?

We only deliver to UK mainland.  Unfortunately, we are unable to offer delivery services to any postcodes in Isle of Man, Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Wight, Isle of Scilly, Northern Ireland or postcodes in the Scottish Highlands starting with IV, HS, ZE, AB, KA, KW, PA, PH. We are working with our delivery partner and hope to be able to offer services to some of these areas very soon.

Can I select a delivery date?

We are currently working on implementing a calendar on the checkout page that allows the selection of delivery date. In the meantime, you can write the desired delivery date in the “Order Notes” field.

Do you have a return policy?

No, as we deliver perishable products, we do not accept returns, nor do we operate a redelivery service if no one is at home to collect the delivery.
